After a cool, wet spring in Mudgee, conditions improved from December, with an early 2024 vintage and most white varieties harvested by late January. Hot weather through early February slowed the ripening of red varieties; however, fruit remained healthy, with final maturation occurring in March.

This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from 50-year-old vines is opulent and complex, showing intense dark fruit characters layered with vanilla, liquorice, toasted spice and cedar. The palate is concentrated and powerful, supported by a velvety texture and firm tannins, before finishing long and flavoursome.
